Our partner, the Pouah institute, has however managed to negotiate the cost of the procedure with the various hospitals:
- “Hadassah” in Jerusalem: 6120 ₪ per procedure;
- “Assuta” in Ashdod: 6120 ₪ per procedure;
- “Tel Hashomer” in Tel Aviv: 12000 ₪ for both procedures.
The Pouah institute handles the rabbinical supervision during the egg-freezing process, in order to ensure that no mistake is made regarding the origin of each of them. A woman from the Pouah institute will be present in the laboratory from the moment the eggs are retrieved until they are frozen. The frozen eggs will be placed in a freezing tank belonging to the Pouah institute. The cost of this service is 150 ₪.
The Pouah institute recovers unused ovarian stimulation treatments and gives them to women who need them. Depending on their stock, they can thus provide part or all of the treatment free of charge.
Please note: rabbinical supervision is an essential condition for receiving any subsidy from us or from the Pouah institute.
After your marriage, and in the event that you need to use the frozen eggs, it will be possible to undergo In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF). For Israelis, IVF is fully covered up to the age of 45. After that age it is no longer covered, but it is possible to do it privately up to the age of 54.
